So, in one of my classes we were assigned a project on racism. We had to visually communicate the idea that "racism (as we know it today in america) was created in the 17th and 18th century." As I'm heading towards a degree in illustration with a focus in children's books, I decided to write/illustrate a story using giraffes rather than humans to tell that particular section of the story.
